TROPIMUNDO is an EC-funded Erasmus Mundus Master Course in Tropical Biodiversity and Ecosystems.


Following universities offer this jointly run Master course: 
the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Brussels, Belgium), Sorbonne University (Paris, France), the National Museum of Natural History (Paris, France), the Università degli Studi di Firenze (Florence, Italy), the Universidad Científica del Perú (Iquitos, Peru), the Université de Dschang (Dschang, Cameroon) and the University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia).

TROPIMUNDO students are able to concentrate on botany, zoology and integrative ecosystem approaches in theses institutions worldwide in 2 Master years. Multiple specialisations are included on botany, zoology and integrative ecosystem approaches. Different trajectories are available and allow students to study at two European universities; field experience and courses take place in one of the non-European universities. Students are awarded a multiple degree depending of which European institutes were visited.

TROPIMUNDO is aimed to students from all over the world. Candidates must have an internationally accepted Bachelor’s degree (i.e. the equivalent of 180 ECTS) with a major in Biology, Natural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and must demonstrate proficiency in English or English+French.
