Dual masters in brain and mind sciences

The Dual Masters in Brain and Mind Sciences is a 2-year Masters program, in partnership with University College London and the l'Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris , which aims to provide studies in a broad range of topics in the Neurosciences, at a cellular, molecular or cognitive level.

The program allows students to design an individualized course of study through taught modules and research projects in disciplines relevant to the Brain and Mind Sciences.  The educational aim is to give a multidisciplinary foundation in Brain & Mind sciences and to provide a sound basis for doctoral research.

Each student, after consultation with the course directors and according to the student's interests, chooses taught modules and laboratory projects. The high quality of teaching and research at the three partner institutions allows academic exploration and provides the opportunity to undertake two research projects, one in each city.

Year 1 (M1) is spent at University College London. For complete information, consult UCL website.

Year 2 (M2) is integrated into the Neurosciences Specialty of the Master BIP at the Sorbonne University, in close partnership with the Ecole Normale Supérieure. 30 ECTS of coursework is undertaken during the first semester (S3). The second semester (S4) is entirely devoted to laboratory training, with a written report and oral defense. For details on coursework in Year 2, click here.
