Physics of Complex Systems: Methods and Applications

This program is offered in partnership with the University of Turin, ENS Cachan France, Paris Diderot and University Paris Sud.

This masters trains high-level physicists in the field of physics with multiple components and multi-scales. Thus, it includes nonlinear physics, statistical physics, soft matter hydrodynamics and biophysics. The first semester of the second year of master takes place in Paris or Italy in the form of an International Springtime School in Trieste. To obtain a double degree, Sorbonne University students should consider a semester abroad during the first year of Master. It is also possible to obtain an engineer diploma from the Politecnico of Turin. Most students apply for a PHD after this program.
