Cardio Oncology Research Group

The Cardio-Oncology Clinical Research Group aims to identify the main determinants of cardiac toxicity associated with anthracycline chemotherapies (targeted therapies, androgen deprivation and immunotherapies), characterize the thrombo-embolic risk in cancer patients, and identify strategies for preventing these cardiovascular toxicities and complications.

This group will draw on the imaging expertise of each of its members (S. EDERHY, Unité de cardio oncologie Sorbonne Université and Service de cardiologie Hôpital Saint-Antoine), translational pharmacology combining fundamental pharmacology, pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance (JE SALEM, Unité de cardio oncologie Sorbonne Université and Service de pharmacologie, Hôpital Pitié Salpêtrière) and hemostasis (Corinne FRERE, Unité de cardio oncologie and Service d'hématologie biologique, Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière).
