"Clinical translation of inorganic nanoparticles. AGuIX nanoparticles as an example of a success story"

Abstract

Much research has been devoted to the development of multimodal nanoparticles for biomedical applications, especially in oncology.
Unfortunately, despite this, only a few number of inorganic nanoparticles are currently in clinical trials. The aim of this presentation is to show the story of one of these nanoparticles (AGuIX) going from the chemical synthesis to the first clinical trial for the treatment of brain metastasis by radiotherapy combined with AGuIX, and the creation of NHTherAguIX nanomedicine company.
