Résumé | Professor Nguyen is visiting Paris as part of her lecture tour as a CNRS chemistry ambassador. She obtained her doctorate at UCLA and carried out postdoctoral research at Columbia University and IBM. She is currently director of the Center for Polymers and Organic Solids at UCSB. Her expertise is in organic semiconductors, bioelectronics and device physics, with applications in solar cells, transistors and photodetectors. A highly cited researcher (H-index: 103), she has published more than 315 papers and received numerous prestigious awards, including the 2015 Alexander von Humboldt Prize and the 2023 de Gennes Prize of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and has been elected to both the US National Academy of Engineering and the European Academy of Sciences. |
