Résumé

Recognizing in women the same capacity than men for scientific and technological work has taken centuries, and prejudices have only slightly weakened —and apparently— in the recent past. Every year, UNESCO draws attention to the fact that only three out of ten scientists in the world's laboratories are women.
The Microsoft company states that seven out of ten girls and adolescents are interested in science, but only two graduate in the area. Science and technology students have exposed that sexist comments are commonplace in the academic world, which continues to privilege her role as a wife and mother rather than as a scientist.
In this talk I will show this gap that is still in force, highlighting the relationships between
sciencetechnology and gender, at different geographical and educational levels. Finally, I will propose some strategic actions to follow to achieve authentic gender equality
