Thirteen athletes in search of medals

Thirteen athletes, eight students and five alumni from Sorbonne University will be taking part in the Olympic adventure. Thirteen young people who have the immense merit of having pursued higher education while practicing their passion at the highest level.

  • Lisa Barbelin, archer and chemistry student

  • Thomas Chirault, archer and engineering student at Polytech Sorbonne

  • Romane Dicko, judoka and mathematics student

  • Zohra Kehli, fencer and history student

  • Margot Lambert, badminton player and computational mechanics student

  • Prithika Pavade, table tennis player and student of natural sciences

  • Ève Planeix, artistic swimmer and psychomotricity student

  • Enzo Nardon, polo player and computer science student

Seven of them are supported by the Sorbonne University Foundation, as part of the Passport for the Olympics scholarship program, opened thanks to the support of Crédit Agricole Île-de-France Donations. Find out more about them below.

Alongside them, five alumni will also be in the running:

  • Delphine Delrue (badminton)

  • Luidgi Midelton (fencer)

  • Maxime Pianfetti (saber)

  • Charlotte and Laura Tremble (artistic swimming)

Sorbonne University has been supporting high-level sports since 1988. The Passport scholarship program involves an average of 35 athletes each year. In partnership with Insep, the success of this approach is due to the daily involvement of the community: education departments for timetable adjustments, teaching staff for teaching aids and fellow students for course sharing and mutual support.
