Preparing for the aggregation
Once you have completed your internship, you will be eligible to become an agrégée teacher and, like all tenured teachers in public schools, they are civil servants.
There are three competitive examinations for the aggregation
- the external examination, which is open to candidates with a Master's degree (or equivalent);
- the special external examination for people with a doctorate ;
- the internal examination for civil servants with five years' public service experience and a Master's degree (or equivalent).
