The Maison de la vie étudiante is a 1000 m2 building in the heart of the Pierre and Marie Curie Campus. It is a space dedicated to Sorbonne University students, a place for meetings, creativity and project development.
On two levels, it includes several dedicated spaces:
- a coworking space for student associations with equipped rooms;
- a fully equipped multipurpose room that can accommodate up to 70 people;
- relaxation areas: games, music, reading, etc.;
- an outdoor terrace;
- a cultural gallery - La Passerelle;
- the Espace des Arts et de la Culture (EDAC, Culture & Arts Space).
Services offered
Various services are set up for the benefit of students:
- reception and support for students and student associations;
- touch screen for free expression (drawings, etc.);
- loan of board games, table football, etc.;
- self-service loan of guitars and pianos;
- free exchange of books;
- newspapers, magazines and books to consult on site;
- idea box;
- charging stations for mobile phones and tablets;
- classified ads notice board.
Opening hours
The Maison de la vie étudiante is located between towers 23 and 24 on the Pierre and Marie Curie campus.
It is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm and Saturday from 12pm to 6pm.
