Bachelor courses in Chemistry

The Bachelor of Chemistry aims to provide students with a solid and generalist foundation, enabling them to move on to various research or professional masters degrees or to teaching careers. It aims to provide theoretical disciplinary skills through the mastery of formal knowledge and problem solving in the major fields of contemporary Chemistry (Molecular Chemistry, Solid and Materials Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Chemistry of Living Organisms) and theoretical knowledge at the interface with related or associated disciplines (Physics, Life Sciences and Earth Sciences). It places particular emphasis on the acquisition of skills related to experimental practice, which are solicited during the practical work proposed in most of the teaching units and which represent approximately 35% of the teaching time.
