M2 - Complex systems (SC) course
This pathway introduces students to statistical and non-linear physics, the organization and dynamics of complex matter, and their theoretical treatment and modeling. Complex matter means soft matter, systems at interfaces, weak solids, fluids obeying (more or less) simple rheological laws, and any biological object studied using standard physics techniques. The course covers theoretical, digital and experimental physics. It also shares teaching units with other courses in the field (e.g. "Fundamental Concepts of Physics").
The course consists of three research-oriented themes:
- International course Physics of Complex Systems (PCS)
- International master in Physics of Complex Systems (i-PCS)
- Microfluidics
