Environmental Science and Policy (SPE) course

Jointly run by Sorbonne University and Sciences Po, the double master's degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy trains professionals in environmental studies and action. In particular, this course contributes to the training of future executives capable of articulating the knowledge and issues involved in designing and implementing the environmental transitions of the 21st century.

Environmental Science and Policy (SPE) course

General organization

The first year provides a common knowledge base through a disciplinary approach to environmental issues. The first semester (S1) is shared between Sorbonne University and Sciences Po. The second semester (S2) takes place entirely at Sciences Po, with students able to take M2-level courses as early as the first year.

The second year of the master's program is devoted to deepening subject-based teaching and developing cross-disciplinary approaches to environmental issues, with a view to acquiring practical skills (S3). The final semester (S4) involves an internship of at least four months, designed as a transition to a first job.
