Medicine

The Faculty of Medicine teaches the 3 cycles of medical studies: from PASS (integrated into the faculty) to the 3rd cycle including DES, DESC, DU and DIU. The lessons are given mainly on two sites: Pitié-Salpêtrière and Saint-Antoine. The faculty also provides paramedical education: speech therapy, psychomotricity and orthoptics. The Saint-Antoine site includes a midwifery school.

PS3

P3S’s equipments are multiple and form a coherent whole around genomics and proteomics. The mission of the P3S platform is to provide its users with state-of-the-art technology and competent personnel with expertise in the relevant fields.

Overview of the different services

Genomic

The platform offers genotyping and methylation analysis services based on the Illumina’s BeadArray technology allowing a large-scale variant analysis of the human genome.

Proteomic

Based on mass spectrometry, the proteomic activity of the P3S platform offers qualitative and quantitative analyses of your protein samples.

Shared Equipments Services

The platform offers academic and private laboratories a set of shared equipments in open access.

The CyPS platform is a high-tech platform in cytometry located on the Pitié-Salpêtrière site. Basic research and clinical research are particularly dynamic there, and carried out in partnership with universities, INSERM and the CNRS.
The Cytometry Platform of Sorbonne University CyPS has been a pioneer in the development of research projects with mass cytometry.
CyPS allows you to acquire your samples on high performance cytometers.

In mass cytometry, Helios (CyTOF technology) allows you to analyze more than 50 parameters simultaneously and in flow cytometry the FacsARIA II SORP sorter allows the simultaneous analysis of 18 fluorescences and the selection of living cells infected with pathogens class 2 and 3 (sorter placed under containment).
CyPS will evolve in the first half of 2020 towards mass cytometry in images: Hyperion. Its principle is based on labeling tissue sections with antibodies coupled to isotopes of heavy metals and detecting them using a mass spectrometer. Tissue analysis of 37 parameters simultaneously allows an unprecedented depth of measurement of tissue in the history of biology and medicine.

The data produced on CyPS are re-analyzed using numerous software available on the structure.

Personalized training in cytometry (flow or mass) and in complex data analysis is offered. Do not hesitate to submit your needs to us.

CyPS engineers support you on a daily basis in your research projects.

The CRB-Sorbonne University Saint Antoine site, is a transversal structure made available to all researchers and clinicians of Sorbonne Unviersity hospital group, participating in mono or multicentric regional, national or international research including the creation of biological collections.
Created in 2010 within the Paris Est Clinical Research platform in association with URC-Est and CRC-Est, CRB manages biological samples from clinical research and their associated data.
The CRB participates in setting up studies at a very early stage, in order to optimize the organization of collections and arrangements.
