Master 2 « Satellite Remote Sensing for Earth & Climate Observation » (SECO)
The Master 2 “Satellite Remote Sensing for Earth & Climate Observation” trains specialists in remote sensing and satellite observations. Today, these disciplines play a key role in many scientific, economic and societal sectors, through their applications in the field of space-based Earth observation: climate, land resource mapping, natural risk management, pollution monitoring, meteorology, environmental physics, extreme events, innovative instrumentation, ocean and atmosphere sciences, agriculture, urban planning, and more. They are also widely used in the sciences of the universe for the exploration of the solar system. The vast amount of data now provided by satellites, combined with the rise of artificial intelligence, opens the way to new scientific advances and new applications.
This Master's program is designed to train experts capable of mastering these technologies and meeting the scientific challenges associated with Earth and climate observation.
