Financing your study mobility

Numerous funding programs are available to help you financially during your international mobility.

These grants are managed by the International Mobility Office of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. They are awarded according to the basic principles set out below, and in compliance with the award criteria of the various funding programs.

The amount of these grants may vary from year to year. Please find below, for information purposes only, all the information on grants available for study mobility during the academic year.

Financing your study mobility

Important

  • Be a Sorbonne Université student enrolled in L2, L3, M1 or M2 during the mobility year
  • Sorbonne Université - Faculty of Science and Engineering
  • Minimum stay of 60 days

The award of mobility grants depends on :

  • available budgets
  • your means. Application of a common criterion: the family quotient, recognized and used by all Sorbonne University funding bodies. Family quota = total gross income divided by the number of shares. This information is given on the tax notice to which you are attached.
  • your status: scholarship holder or not
  • of your parent company
  • your destination: Europe or outside Europe
  • whether or not you have received additional grants awarded through specific programs

Applications will be reviewed at the end of October (S1 + Year mobilities) and mid-February (S2 mobilities). You will then receive a reply to your application by e-mail.

ATTENTION: only COMPLETE applications will be considered by the commission. Failure to comply with the instructions below will prevent your application from being processed.

  • Photocopy of current year's compulsory French tax return

Please note that for AMIE assistance and in the case of declared tax independence: provide a copy of a receipt proving that you live separately from the family home, and proof of personal resources corresponding to at least 50% of the annual gross minimum wage, i.e. €10,483 (excluding alimony). If these two cumulative conditions are not met, only the parents' tax notice will be taken into account.

  • Copy of family record book if the name on your parents' tax return is different from your own
  • 1 RIB in your full name (no RIB from your parents)
  • If you are a scholarship holder: final CROUS scholarship notification for the current year.

If you do not yet have the notification corresponding to the year of mobility, you can send us the notification for the current year.
